Roasted Spiced Chickpeas
Thyme and Roasted spiced chickpeas

Ingredients
29 ounce can chickpeas
2-3 tsp tuscan seasoned or reg.  EVOO from @Amazingolive of Patchogue
2 tbs ground cumin
1 tbs paprika
2 tsp garlic salt
1/4-1/2 tsp Chipotle chili powder depending on heat Preference
1 tsp coarse sea salt
2 tsp fresh thyme leaves(Optional)

Roasted Spiced Chickpeas with thyme














Mix spices well

-29 ounces can chickpeas drained and rinse and dry well on a paper towel that I lay over a kitchen T-towel 
-Preheat oven 400° (convection)
Half baking sheet sprayed lightly with olive oil or cooking spray.
-toss dried chickpeas with olive oil and then coat heavily with spices and lay out on baking sheet in a single layer spread out so that the chickpeas are not touching each other.
-Bake for 25 minutes then toss and bake for an additional 15 minutes then toss in optional dried thyme leaves and bake for an additional 5-10minutes.
